About Ad-Shield

  • Billions of ad impressions vanish every day due to a new generation of adblockers, destroying over $200B in publisher revenue annually. We've built the technology that restores this lost revenue. Ad-Shield is one of the fastest-growing companies in adtech. Our trajectory is steep: ~30x growth in 2025, and on track for 10x in 2026.
  • Our platform gives media owners visibility into blocked users, recovers billions of lost impressions every day, and unlocks a net-new revenue channel. The market is waking up fast, and demand for Ad-Shield is exploding across premium publishers, media groups, retail media networks, and global platforms. Guided by our "Small Team, Big Impact" philosophy, we move fast, think boldly, and operate with strong ownership and exceptional teamwork. If you want to join a company at an inflection point — this is the moment.

About the Role

  • This is not a pipeline-management job. As our Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will personally land the partnerships that define our next chapter — the world's largest media companies, top-comScore publishers, retail media networks, and global platforms whose deals individually move company-level revenue.
  • Your mandate is simple and enormous: bring in accounts big enough to double or triple Ad-Shield's revenue. You'll operate as our most senior dealmaker, reporting directly to the CEO, with full pricing and structuring latitude on strategic deals and the entire company behind every pursuit.
  • We have first-mover advantage in a category moving from "unknown" to "must-have" at lightning speed — and our technology applies wherever ad revenue leaks: publishing, retail media, commerce platforms, and beyond. The whitespace at the top of the market is wide open. This role exists to capture it.

What you will do

Land the Deals That Change the Company

  • Identify, pursue, and close the largest partnerships in the market: major media conglomerates, top-100 publishers, retail media networks, commerce platforms, and international media groups.
  • Open and develop entirely new strategic categories — retail media is the first; you'll find the next.
  • Own a small number of high-value pursuits end-to-end — from first executive conversation through negotiation, structuring, and signature.
  • Lead seven- and eight-figure commercial negotiations, including multi-property, multi-year, and network-wide agreements.
  • Carry a revenue target measured in company-doubling terms, not quota increments.

Sell at the Highest Level

  • Open doors and build trusted relationships with CEOs, CROs, and Chief Digital Officers at the world's largest media and commerce companies — often relationships you already have.
  • Architect proofs of concept and ROI models that quantify recovered revenue at portfolio scale — whether that's a publisher's dark traffic or a retail media network's blocked onsite inventory.
  • Translate deep technical concepts into board-level narratives about revenue, signal loss, and monetization strategy.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles across AdOps, RevOps, Retail Media, Product, Engineering, Legal, and the C-suite.

Shape Strategy and the Category

  • Define our strategic-accounts motion: which whales to hunt, in what order, and with what deal structures — across publishing, retail media, and adjacent markets.
  • Feed intelligence from the largest media owners directly into our product roadmap and competitive strategy.
  • Partner with the Onboarding team to ensure marquee accounts launch fast and become referenceable flagship wins.
  • Represent Ad-Shield at the industry's most senior tables — conferences, private events, and executive roundtables worldwide — positioning us as the category leader in ad revenue recovery.

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in adtech, media, or retail media sales/partnerships, with significant time selling to enterprise and strategic accounts (SSP/exchange, identity, analytics, privacy tech, yield management, retail media platforms, etc.).
  • A verifiable track record of personally closing seven-figure-plus partnerships — deals that materially changed your company's revenue trajectory.
  • An existing, active network of senior relationships (CEO/CRO/Head of Revenue level) at major publishers, media groups, retail media networks, or commerce platforms.
  • Deep fluency in media-owner economics, revenue levers, programmatic and retail media monetization, and how large organizations make buying decisions.

Skills

  • Elite consultative selling: you build business cases that CFOs sign off on, not just demos that AdOps likes.
  • Sophisticated deal-structuring and negotiation instincts across complex, multi-entity agreements.
  • Technically credible: comfortable discussing tags, CMPs, header bidding, analytics stacks, and web infrastructure with engineering leaders.
  • Executive presence — you're equally effective in a boardroom, on a conference stage, and in a founder-level negotiation.

Traits

  • Whale hunter by temperament: patient on the long cycle, relentless on the close.
  • Extreme ownership: you carry the number personally and don't need a team, a playbook, or air cover to win.
  • Builder mindset: energized by ambiguity, whitespace, and defining a category rather than following one.
  • Excited to join a small, fast-moving, highly ambitious team where one person's deals can reshape the entire company.

Helpful experience (not required)

  • Experience in adblock recovery or adblocking.
  • Experience building or selling into retail media networks (onsite/offsite monetization).
  • Prior success as the first or most senior seller at an early-stage, hypergrowth startup.
  • Experience selling into international markets (EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
